With Goosebumps, Marco Sgarbossa’s first solo exhibition at SPS, the artist presents a visual exploration of emotional and bodily responses to surprise and the unexpected.
The core of the exhibition project is Cacciatori di spigoli – Edges hunters-, a research started in 2019 and still in progress, a series of sharp edges from different objects (bedside tables, tables, football goalposts…), which are ripped out of their original context and reassembled into a collection of cuts and wounds.[Excerpt from the press release]
