Mom and Dad is a set of 6 glasses for Gin&Tonic conceived by milanese artist duo Ducati Monroe. Three Mom and three Dad glasses are engraved with images that recall prison tattoos. The package is made of sawed cardboard which allow them to stand alone almost as a sculpture.
Ducati Monroe is a duo born in 2018 with the aim to formalize reproducible objects. The pleasure, the erotism of the shape and the production process are the raw material that describes the product. Amongst the main productions: VETRORICERCA – Fuorisalone Milano; THE MEGA VIEW – Palermo; IT PLAYS SOMETHING ELSE, 70 anni Diadora – Firenze.
These glasses were conceived for a side event of Manifesta12 (Palermo in 2018) and afterwards packaged in collaboration with Paolo Nava.
