Anaïs Wenger

Anaïs Wenger is a multimedia artist. Her commitment to art and its modes of sharing unfolds in a variety of situations where the work circulates and transforms, creating a shifting fabric of relationships between reality and fiction. To explore this constant negotiation, Wenger gathers and assembles materials, favoring a collaborative approach, whether in dialogue with other artists, other works, or the audience itself. Graduated from the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD), where she intervenes intermittently, Anaïs Wenger also studied at the National College of Arts in Dublin (NCAD) and specialized in Dramaturgy and Text Performance at the University of Lausanne (UNIL-EPFL).

Her work was exhibited in solo and group shows at Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève; Fondation Bailly, Lugano; Fondazione ICA, Milan; Accademia di Romania, Rome; Kunsthaus Langenthal; FriArt Kunsthalle, Fribourg; CAN Centre d’Art Neuchâtel; Maison des Arts du Grütli, Geneva; Salle Crosnier, Palais de l’Athénée, Geneva; WallRiss, Fribourg; Ferme de la Chapelle / Festival Antigel, Lancy; Espace 3353, Carouge; Kaserne, Basel; Kunstverein Spielact at Le Commun, Geneva; Galerie de la Grenette, Sion; BIG, Geneva; La Julienne Maison des Arts et de la Culture, Plan-les-Ouates; Maison Gaudard, Lausanne.
