This exhibition comprises forty works which are being shown for the first time in Milan, housed in the studio of the artist Turi Simeti, exceptionally opened to the public for this occasion. Bernhard Schobinger subjects the piece of jewelry to a radical reconside- ration, overturning the traditional codes almost to the point of destroying them. Known for his Neo-Dada spirit, the Swiss artist works by way of contrasts, breaking away from canons and upsetting whatever convention. In making his jewelry Schobin- ger creates art. His work is the fruit of an experimentation which verges on sculpture and in which - and with audacity - jewelry takes on the role of a go-between. The result of a dialogue between matter and spirit, each piece is proposed as a dynamic object capable of questioning both values and certainties.
